4 / PROGRAMMING YOUR MACHINE

•SETTING THE FUNCTIONS

•Setting the “Finishing Time”:

Important:

Before you can use the “Finishing Time” function, you must first have set the “Current Time”

on the clock.

— Turn the selector

to switch your washing machine on.

— If the “Finishing Time”

is not already shown on the screen, press button

to select this function.

NB:

The time displayed on the screen represents the current time plus the duration of the selected

programme; you therefore cannot advance this.
—

On the other hand, you can delay the time using buttons

(the setting is made in 15-minute periods

based on 24 hours).

NB:

The “Finishing Time” remains fixed until the end of the programme.

Information:

Certain occurrences during operation (for example: detection of imbalance, foam, etc.) can

cause the cycle’s duration to vary. In this case, the “Finishing Time” is updated automatically.

•Setting a “Delayed Start”:

—  If you prefer to delay the cycle by delaying the starting time, use button

to select the “Delayed

Start” function

— Use buttons

to set the delayed start’s duration (this is set hour by hour, from 1 to 24 hours).

NB:

For a “Delayed Start” of more than 1 hour, the countdown is hour by hour up to 1 hour and then

minute by minute.
When the countdown is complete (when the cycle actually starts), the “Time Remaining” function

is

displayed.

•Displaying “Time Remaining”:

—  If you are in “Finishing Time” mode

and wish to see “Time Remaining”

displayed, simply use

button

to select this function.

This provides:

- During the cycle, the time remaining before the end of the cycle.

- During the waiting period before the cycle starts, the time remaining before the cycle actually starts
(rounded to the next hour).

— “Time remaining” is also displayed, without any action on your part:

- As soon as you start the washing machine, unless you were in “Finishing Time” mode during the
previous cycle.
- At the end of a “Delayed Start”, as soon as the cycle actually starts.

•Selecting the type of textiles:

To select the type of textiles or a particular programme (Flash 30’, Spin, etc.), turn the knob

until

the desired programme (for more details, please refer to the section “PROGRAMME DETAILS”).

•Setting the temperature:

When you have selected the type of textiles or a particular programme, your washing machine proposes
the most suitable washing temperature for the programme.
You can alter the suggested temperature by repeatedly pressing button

briefly.

•Setting the end of the cycle

(spinning, draining, etc):

Your washing machine similarly automatically proposes the maximum authorised spin speed for the
selected programme.
By pressing briefly each time on button

:

—  Either select a different spin speed
— Or drip dry

.

The cycle will end with a gentle spin at 100 rpm.
— Or select stopping with the tub full

.

Your machine will stop with the tub full of water before the final spin.

•Selecting the options:

To select the options, press one or more of the “Options” buttons

(for more details, please refer to

the section “DETAILS OF THE OPTIONS”).
