BLUETOOTHCONNECTION
This device is capable of receiving a stereo audio signal from a Bluetooth audio source
device. Check the auxiliary device’s instruction manual to make sure that the A2DP
distribution profile is supported.
• Activate the Bluetooth function of the peripheral device.
• Turn the device on, then select the BT mode and press MODE repeatedly .
• Search the SB220B THOMSON device source. Confirm the profile found to
synchronise the two devices.
• Pairing has been successful when the Bluetooth blue light stops flashing.
• Play the music from the Bluetooth peripheral device.
• Press

to play/pause the track.
• Press TUNE (

) on the remote control to switch from one track to another.
• Press and hold TUNE (

) to advance or return on the track that is being played.
Note : The above steps for Bluetooth connection are intended for reference purposes
only. Please refer to the instruction manual of the Bluetooth device for more details.
DISCONNECTION/RECONNECTON TO THE BLUETOOTH AUDIO SOURCE
• Press
q
to turn the device off, and to disconnect the Bluetooth device.
• Turn the SB220B THOMSON on to automatically retrieve the last peripheral paired.
Note : Simultaneous connection of two Bluetooth audio auxiliary devices to the SB220B
THOMSON is not supported. First disconnect the Bluetooth function of the paired
peripheral, to launch a search to find the second Bluetooth peripheral. (See “Bluetooth
connection”)
PROGRAMMABLE TIMER TO TURN ON THE DEVICE
In stand-by mode:
• Press and hold TIMER : The symbol “ T ” appears on the LCD screen and the hour
display flashes.
• Press TUNE (

) to adjust the hour, then press TIMER to confirm and then adjust
the minutes and finally press TIMER to confirm .
• Once the time set is reached, the device turns automatically on.
• The timer function can be disabled or enabled by briefly pressing TIMER on the
remote control (in stand-by mode only).
EQUALIZER
Press EQ to activate the equalizing function and select the desired audio mode. There
are various modes as shown below:
SLEEP FUNCTION
In playback mode
• Press SLEEP repeatedly to select duration: 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, 3
minutes or 00.
• The device turns automatically off when the time set has elapsed.
Volume and sound settings
Press VOL + / - or / - or BASS + / - to adjust the sound volume or bass and
treble sounds.
Sound off mode
During playback, press MUTE on the remote control to enable or disable the sound.
SOUND EFFECTS
During playback, press VOICE , MUSIC or MOVIE repeatedly to obtain better sound
quality.
