Built-In Menu Delegation and Navigation
For ease of use, the built-in menu employs a context sensitive menu system.
A tree type menu system would have required several nested levels to
access the many features of the Kalypso system. To use this context sensi-
tive menu you delegate the display to the desired feature using adjacent
menu delegation buttons. These buttons control what menu appears and
which point of use is controlled. Refer to
The top two menu delegation button rows delegate the menu to a point of
use (e.g., M/E 1, Key 2), while the third row specifies a set of controls
(Wipe, Transform Engine, etc.). The menu initially displayed is the top level
for that set of controls for the selected point of use.
