RADIO FM
FM radio settings
After switching on the device:
• Select the
TUNER
mode by repeatedly pressing
SOURCE
.
• Press
TUNING

to search the frequency.
• Press and hold
TUNING

for an auto search.
The search will stop when a radio station is tuned into
correctly.
• It is possible to directly access a frequency using the
numeric buttons on the remote control. For example,
press the keys 8, 9 and 8 to set a frequency of 89.8
MHz. If an incorrect frequency is entered, the message
“
ERROR
” will be displayed on the screen.
• Press
MO/ST
to switch between the
FM STEREO
and
FM MONO
modes.
SAVING YOUR FAVOURITE RADIO STATIONS
• Set the desired station, then press
MEM
button till the
pre-selection number “P01” flashes on the screen.
• Use the
CH +/-
button to select the pre-selection
number from P01 to P20.
• Confirm the selection by pressing
MEM
button.
• Press the
CH +/-
button to access the saved stations.
BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
This device can receive an audio stereo signal from a
Bluetooth audio source peripheral. Check the instruction
manual of the peripheral device to ensure that the
distribution profile (A2DP) is taken into consideration for
optimal compatibility.
• Activate the Bluetooth function of the peripheral device.
• Switch on the device, and select the
BT
mode by
repeatedly pressing the
SOURCE
button. The Bluetooth
light flashes indicating a pending connection.
• Search for
DS110B
THOMSON
on the source device.
Select the appropriate profile to synchronise the two
devices. (Default password: “0000”).
• The connection is complete when the blue Bluetooth
light is stable. The screen displays
CONNECT
, followed
by BT + Volume.
• You can now play music from your Bluetooth device.
• Press the

button to play/pause.
• Press the

button on the device or

on the remote control to switch from
one track to another.
• Press and hold the
TUNING

button or

to scan back and forward the current track.
Note
: The pairing (BT) function of the
DS110B
THOMSON
will be interrupted after about 75 seconds, if no device
is connected to it. The Bluetooth connection steps given
above are only used as reference. Refer to the instruction
manual of the Bluetooth peripheral for more details.
SETTING THE TIME
• In standby mode, press and hold
CLOCK
: “
CLK
”
appears and the hour display flashes.
• Set the hours using
TUNING

.
• Press

to confirm, the minute display begins
flashing.
• Set the minutes using the
TUNING

/
8
.
• Press
CLOCK
to confirm.
• In playback mode, press
CLOCK
to display the time.
USE
DISCONNECTING/RE-CONNECTING TO THE SOURCE
BLUETOOTH AUDIO DEVICE
• Press
q
to switch off the device, and to disconnect the
Bluetooth peripheral.
• Switch on the
DS110B
THOMSON
to automatically
reconnect to the most recent peripheral used.
Note
: It is not possible to connect two Bluetooth audio
peripherals to the
DS110B
THOMSON
at the same time.
Disable the Bluetooth function of the connected peripheral
and then press and hold
PAIR/

on the device or on the
remote control to search for the new Bluetooth peripheral to
be synchronised. Select the profile
DS110B
THOMSON
on
the audio source.
SLEEP FUNCTION
In playback mode:
• Press
SLEEP
repeatedly to select the duration: 90, 80,
70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes or
OFF
.
• The device switches off automatically at the end of this
duration.
Note
: You can view the remaining time by pressing
SLEEP
.
Sound and volume settings
Press

to adjust the
sound volume, or the treble and bass.
Silent mode
When a track is playing, press
MUTE
to mute or play the
sound.
RESET
The default settings of the device can be restored in
case of a problem. When the device stops functioning or
accidentally switches off. Use a pointed object (a paper clip
for example) to press the
RESET
button on the backside
of the device. The system restarts automatically. If the
procedure is successful, the time display flashes and is set
to zero.
