Rear speakers, signal transmitter and receiver
The subwoofer is also a wireless signal transmitter. It
converts the audio signal from the DVD player into a
5.8 GHz radio frequency and transmits it to the receiver.
The wireless signal receiver picks up the radio frequency,
converts it back to an audio signal and transmits it to the
rear speakers.
1.
Connect the subwoofer to the
WIRELESS
RJ45
socket of the DVD player.
2.
Connect the rear speakers to the wireless receiver
using the speaker wires.
3.
Connect the wireless receiver to a mains socket.
4.
Make sure the transmitter is in STANDBY mode
before pressing the
POWER
button to turn the
receiver on.The LED on the receiver blinks while the
receiver is searching for a signal; it then turns green
once the signal is found.
Changing the channel frequency
To minimize interference from other 5.8 GHz systems
(cell phones, wireless LAN), you may select a different
transmission channel if you should experience
interference. The channel selector is located on the front
panel of the subwoofer (transmitter). You may change the
transmission channel according to the table below:
Notes:
You need to restart the DVD player whenever a different
transmission signal is selected.
The maximum transmission range is 10 metres. Walls,
obstacles or people walking between the transmitter and the
receiver may affect the efficient transmission range.
Place the receiver as high as possible.
Aim the receiver front panel at the transmitter.
If the transmission is bad, try turning the receiver.
