Attaching the adapter
Lock the rear wheel brakes of the Q chassis and align the adapter in such a way that the fixed
U-shaped hooks point towards the back. (Fig. 1) Place the adapter on the Q chassis, ensuring
that the U-shaped hooks at the back are positioned
between
the spacers on the seat support.
Then press the adapter downwards at the front. The adapter must be heard to engage audibly.
(Fig. 2)
Adjusting the tRide seat unit
Pull out the right and left locking pins on the adapter and lock them by turning them through
a quarter turn. (Fig. 3) Press and hold down the release mechanism on the rod of the headrest
of the tRide seat unit. (Fig. 4) Fit the tRide seat unit with the lateral pins inserted into their
recesses in the adapter. Bring the seat unit into the upright position until you hear it audibly
engage. (Fig. 5) Allow the lateral locking pins to click into place and then check whether the
seat unit is securely engaged by pulling it upwards.
Removing the tRide seat unit
First pull out the locking pins and lock them in position. Then lift the seat unit upwards to
remove it, while pressing the release mechanism (on the rod of the headrest). To remove the
adapter, press the release bar forward and lift out the adapter. (Fig. 6)
