Before putting into
operation for the fi rst time
We congratulate you on buying our THOMAS
VAPORO TROLLEY steam cleaner. Please first
check whether all the different parts are com-
plete and not damaged. Please get in touch
with your specialist dealer without any delay
should you discover any damage incurred dur-
ing transportation.
IMPORTANT: Before using the appliance for
the first time carefully read the safety instruc-
tions and the directions for use. Only by doing
this can you ensure that you use the appliance
safely and reliably.
Always keep these instructions for use ready
to hand because you will also need them for
reordering spare parts. Please remember to
hand over the instructions for use when you
lend your appliance to someone.
In the case of irregularities or when you need
spare parts please get in touch with your
specialist dealer. To enable him to help you
quickly you always need to tell him the exact
designation of your appliance that you find on
the type plate of the appliance.

Safety instructions
Please read our safety instructions without
fail before putting into operation for the first
time.
EXPLANATIONS AS TO TERMINOLOGY USED
You will find the following warning terms used in these
instructions:
DANGER! Fire risk involved!
Non-observance of this warning can lead to dam-
age and injury to limb and life.
ATTENTION! There is a moderate risk given.
Non-observance of this warning can cause mate-
rial damage.
IMPORTANT!
There is a little risk given! However,
these are instructions that should certainly be observed.

DANGER!
Never use the steam cleaner if
you can see that either the appliance, mains
cable or mains plug are damaged. Should the con-
nection cable be defective you must have this
replaced by the manufacturer, customer service
department or a similarly qualified person to avoid
taking any risks.
• Repairs to electrical appliances are only to be carried
out by authorised electricians. Improper repairs can
put the user at considerable risk!
• Excluded from repairs under guarantee are deficien-
cies caused by improper use and damage or repairs
carried out by third parties. The same applies for use
without water in the tank or parts subject to normal
wear.
• Never work with the steam cleaner close to inflamma-
ble liquids (for example, petrol). There is a great risk
of explosion should you do so!

DANGER!
Never hold your hand in front of
the steam discharge nozzles! At no time must
the steam discharge nozzles be directed at people or
animals!
Risk of scolding!
• Make sure that liquids never get into the motor block.
Should this happen immediately disconnect the mains
power plug and inform the service team.
• Never clean electrical appliances or vehicles
(passenger cars) with the steam cleaner.
• Never leave children alone and unattended to play
or work with electrical appliances.
