Starting up
Unpack and carefully check that there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep
the equipment packaging. To fully protect the device against vibration, dust and moisture
during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material
suitable for transport or storage, respectively.
Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for
all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards.
You can use either a 9-V battery or the 9-V connector for external power supply. Before con‐
necting check for correct polarity.
To insert or change the battery, switch off the device first. Loosen the screws located at the
edges of the base plate. Do not loosen the three screws in the middle of the base plate. Care‐
fully remove the base plate. Take care not to damage the cable. Change the battery.
Remount the base plate without squeezing the cables. Insert and tighten the screws.
