fresh water should be allowed to stand in the pump for several
days to dissolve the accumulation of salt in the cylinder and
hose lines. after pumping this water out, remove the drain
plug in the waste arm to drain any remaining water.
replace drain plug and pour Sea lube (amount based on
manufacturer’s instructions) into the bowl, them pump it
into the bottom of the cylinder with a stroke or two. allow
treatment to stand for 24 hours, then pump dry and remove
the drain plug. If antifreeze is used, it must be glycol base.

Irriguez la pompe à l’eau fraîche pendant plusieurs jours afin de dissoudre
l’accumulation de sel dans le cylindre et dans les tuyaux. après avoir
pompé cette eau hors du système, enlevez le bouchon de vidange du levier
d’évacuation afin de drainer toute l’eau résiduelle.
remettez le bouchon de vidange et versez du Sea lube dans la cuvette
(suivez les instructions du manufacturier pour déterminer la quantité ap-
propriée), puis envoyez le produit dans le fond du cylindre en actionnant
un ou deux coups de pompe. laissez le traitement reposer pendant 24
heures puis asséchez par pompage et retirez le bouchon de vidange. Si
vous utilisez un antigel, le produit doit être à base de glycol. Ne versez
