CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 

A  vacuum  cleaner  simplifies  the  ash 

removal process.  Clean the glass with a 

damp cloth or a damp ball of newspaper 

dipped in ash and wipe the glass until it 

is perfectly clean.  Do not clean the glass 

while the appliance is in operation.

CAUTION:  a daily deposit of soot and 

combustion residues on the glass is quite 

normal.

- remove cover 2

- remove wing nuts 3

- remove cover 4
