Checks to perform
The control unit's
screen does
not light up.
Check that the appliance is correctly powered.
The room
temperature is
different from the
t e m p e r a t u r e
displayed by the
appliance.
You will have to wait at least 6 hours for the temperature to stabilise.
Depending on your installation, it is possible that
your room temperature is slightly different from temperature
displayed on the appliance (a
difference of 0.5° C is normal). Refer to the "Expert
Menu" OFSt if this is the case.
The appliance does
not heat.
Check that the appliance is in Comfort mode.
If you are in programming mode, check that the setting is on a Comfort
time window. Make sure that your installation's circuit breakers have
not tripped or that the load shedder (if you have one) has not cut
the power to the appliance. Check the room temperature: if it is too
hot the appliance will not heat up.
The appliance heats
all the time
Check that the appliance is not situated in a draft (near an open door
, where cold air can enter the connection box at the rear of the
appliance) or ensure that the temperature control has not
been changed.
There could be an inherent danger in the electrical network. If there
is a problem (thermostat stuck ...), cut the appliance's power supply
(fuse, circuit breaker) for about 10 minutes, then turn it back on.
Ask your electrician to check the system if the problem recurs
frequently.
The appliance does
not
not heat enough.
Increase the temperature by pr.
If the setting is at maximum, check the following:
- Check that there is not another heat source in the room.
- Ensure that your appliance is only heating the room (doors are
closed).
- Have the appliance's supply voltage checked.
- Check if the appliance's power rating is suitable for the size of
your room (we recommend an average of 100 W/m 2 for a ceiling
height of 2.50 m or 40W/m 3).
The appliance
heats slowly.
The electrical resistance heats the fluid which
gradually starts to circulate inside the device.
The inert quality of the fluid means that the surface of the appliance
only reaches its optimal temperature after a minimum of 15 minutes,
depending on the room temperature while
the appliance is heating up.
