the temperature set by the regulator on the control panel (in the range of 30 – 80°C) is maintained. If heating of a
system of a lower input than the minimum boiler output takes place, the output temperature of the heating water
increases by 5°C above the set value. At this stage, the boiler interrupts the combustion at preserving the operation
of the circulation pump and launches a time limit for the repeated ignition (service setting falls within the range of
0 – 10 minutes). This makes the boiler a highly adaptable source of heat with respect to the rich variability of the
regulated systems (e.g. the use of zone regulation, thermostatic valves etc.).
After disconnection of the room thermostat, the function of a limited adjustable pump deceleration becomes
activated (service setting falls within the range of 0 – 10 minutes). This function is used for heat take-off from the
condensing body and for better temperature distribution of the radiators (especially with horizontal distribution
networks) at using room regulators with a short-work-cycle PI link (e.g. Honeywell CM 707, CM 907).
1.2
Heating system heat-up mode with equitherm regulation
Setting: The outdoor temperature sensor is connected, service switch DS2 – ON, DS3 – OFF
.
The work cycles of the boiler are the same as in the already mentioned mode in article 1.1 with the
difference that the temperature of the heating system is set automatically according to the outdoor temperature
(determined by the sensor). Calculation of the desired temperature of the heating system is a function of the
outdoor temperature and a function of the
"K"
factor (equitherm curve slope) which is set by the service engineer
with taking into account the locality and heating system characteristics. User sets the desired thermal convenience
(correction of the equitherm curve displacement in the range of
±
15°C of the heating water) by the heating water
temperature regulator on the control panel.
The equitherm curve is modified for a standard heating system with radiators.

It follows out from the aforementioned facts that in this boiler mode the heating temperature regulator on
the control panel is used to set the required temperature of the heated space. We recommend that the initial service
setting of
"K" = 1.6
.
User
setting of the heating temperature regulator is in the middle of the setting range
(indicator points upwards which corresponds to the curve displacement of 0°C). After the heated space temperature
is checked (approximately after 24 hours), it is possible to perform the setting according to your requirements for
thermal convenience. This temperature level of the heated space will be maintained automatically independently of
the changes in the outdoor temperature.
By using this mode of boiler regulation, further savings of running costs can be achieved at improving
thermal convenience (continuous heating of the radiators). Last but not least, this option will be greatly appreciated
as pre-regulation of the primary heating circuit when using zone regulation (mixing valves) etc.
Room thermostat can be naturally connected for maintaining lower temperature levels in the heated space.
In such situations, we recommend to perform the installation without PI regulation (only with switching on the
basis of difference between the temperatures). The heating temperature
regulator should be set to
a slightly higher
value compared to operation without a room thermostat.
If a defect on the outdoor sensor occurs, it is indicated and the boiler continues operating while maintaining
the heating system temperature level set in the previous mode specified in article 1.1.
