To install a new tungsten lamp

1. Remove the used tungsten lamp as described in

“Removing the Tungsten Lamp ”

page 42

2. Hold the lamp assembly so that the leads are at the top. Slide the assembly onto the two

alignment pins shown in

Figure 35

. The alignment pins are located on either side of the

detector monochromator aperture.
