Saving the APCI/MS
Tune Method
You can save the settings you just obtained in a Tune Method specific to
your particular analyte and solvent flow rate. (In this case, you save settings
obtained using reserpine.) You can recall the Tune Method and use it as a
starting point for optimizing the MS detector on reserpine at a different
flow rate.
Save the APCI/MS Tune Method
1. Choose
File > Save As
to display the Save As dialog box. See
Select the C:\Xcalibur\methods folder.
2. Click the
File Name
text box, and then enter
APCImyTune
to name the
Tune Method APCImyTune.LTQTune
.
