Preparing KingFisher Flex and PC for Functional Testing

Note:

Tip combs should be stored contrary when they are not in use.

Note:

Magnetic heads should be always stored in their storage boxes when they are not in

use.

•

Remove upper cover

•

Connect RS cable from PC to KingFisher Flex

•

Check that tip shield is on right position

•

Check that keyboard cable is connected

•

Connect mains cable.

Instructions How to

Program PCB Assembly MAIN-02

•

Install new PCB assembly MAIN-02

•

Put a jumper to connector X25 of PCB assembly MAIN-02. See Figure 9-2 on page 9-5.

Install C167load.exe program with all .H86 files (the latest C167.load program is available
from MIB tech support group as requested)

•

Connect PC to KingFisher Flex

•

Switch on the KingFisher Flex

•

Start C167load.exe program

” -button. Installation should now start and be completed in a few minutes. See

Figure 9-3 on page 9-6.
