Maintaining the DSQ II

Maintaining Components Outside the Vacuum Manifold

Thermo Scientific

DSQ II Hardware Manual

Remove the digital board, as described in "

Replacing the Digital Board" on page 87

b. Disconnect cables from their connectors.

Remove the six nuts holding the analog board in place.

d. Remove the analog board.

5. Install the new analog board (PN 119590-0022).

Insert the new analog board.

b. Reattach the six nuts.

Reconnect the cables.

d. Reattach the digital board.

6. Reattach the left cover of the DSQ II.

7. Restart the DSQ II.

Replacing the Analog Board Fuse

To replace the analog board fuse:

1. Cover the work area with a lint-free cloth.

2. Shut down and vent the DSQ II, as described in

"Shutting Down the GC/MS System"

on page 18

3. Remove the left cover, as described in "

Removing the Left Cover" on page 29

4. Replace the analog board fuse.

WARNING - ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.

Before proceeding. unplug

the DSQ II to avoid an electrical shock.
