Replacing the Turbomolecular Pump Power Supply
To replace the turbomolecular pump power supply, you will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
1. Cover the work area with a lint-free cloth.
2. Shut down and vent the DSQ II, as described in
"Shutting Down the GC/MS System"
.
3. Remove the right cover, as described in "
Removing the Right Cover" on page 27
.
4. Remove the turbomolecular pump power supply.

a.
Disconnect the four cables (items 3, 4, 5, and 6 in ).
b. From the bottom of the DSQ II, remove the four screws holding the turbomolecular
power supply in place.
c.
Remove the turbomolecular pump power supply.
WARNING - ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.
Before proceeding. unplug
the DSQ II to avoid an electrical shock.
