the plasmex filter must be installed as follows:
USE OF THE PLASMEX FILTER
the plasmex filter has been designed to remove fumes, grease and particles from the air. the plasmex filter is automatically activated when the
filter detects airflow. the filter is also self-cleaning, which means that once the filter has been installed according to requirements, there is no
need for the user to do anything in order to use the plasmex filter.
Install the hood according to the requirements
contained in the installation instructions for
the hood.
NOtE: Neither an exhaust nor duct should be
installed on the hood. Also, it is extremely im-
portant that a none-return valve is NOt moun-
ted.
Place one of the O-rings on the hood’s exhaust
flange.
Place the flange on the hood and make sure the
flange is turned so the plasmex filter is posi-
tioned with a distance of at least 30 mm to the
surroundings on all sides.
NOtE: the flange can only be used on hoods
where it is necessary to ensure the minimum
distance to the surroundings.

Place an O-ring on the top edge of the flange.
Place the plasmex filter on the flange.
NOtE: to ensure maximum efficiency of the fil-
ter, it is recommended that the filter be placed
as close to the blowout as possible.

connect the plasmex filter to the power supply.
NOtE: the filter must be connected directly to
230 V.

Install the hood’s duct and connect the hood to
the power supply as described in the installa-
tion instructions for the hood.
