The flow rate of water through the heater should be set within the ranges given in the

Calculation of the water flowrate
To calculate the exact flowrate of water flowing through the heater, apply the following
method:
Allow the pump to run with the heater off for a few minutes;
Take a reading on the outlet water temperature indicator;
Then switch the heater on and allow about five minutes for the temperature to
stabilise before taking a second temperature reading.
The difference between the two readings gives the exact temperature rise for that
particular flow rate;
Use the following formula to establish the rate:
