SECTION 5 SYSTEM: SERVICE
5.01 General Maintenance
Warning!
There are extremely dangerous voltage and power levels present inside
this product. Do not attempt to open or repair unless you are a qualified
electrical tradesperson and you have had training in power measurements
and troubleshooting techniques. If major complex subassemblies are faulty,
then the Cutting Power Source must be returned to an Accredited CIGWELD
Service Provider for repair.
Each Use
Visual check of
torch tip and electrode
Weekly
Visually inspect the torch body tip,
electrode, start cartridge and shield cup
Visually inspect the
cables and leads.
Replace as needed
3 Months

Replace all
broken parts
