3.16 TH1 “Primary Thermistor”

1) Remove the Side Panel. [See section “11.1-1”]
2) Remove the snap band. Disconnect the connector CN5 on the PCB1. Remove the screw and then
detach the TH1. Before installing a new Thermistor, apply a uniform coat of silicone compound (Shinetsu
Silicone G-747 or equivalent) on the base.
3.17 TH2 “Secondary Thermistor”

1) Remove the Side Panel. [See section “11.1-1”]
2) Remove PCB3 unit. [See section “12.3-3”]
3) Cut the three snap bands. Disconnect the connector CN6 on the PCB1. Remove the screw and then
detach the TH1. Before installing a new Thermistor, apply a uniform coat of silicone compound (Shinetsu
Silicone G-747 or equivalent) on the base.
