Filter Cycles (FILTER CYCLES) Menu
From the ADVANCED SETTINGS MENU, use the Y/UP button to scroll up to the FILTER
CYCLES Sub-MENU and select by pressing ENT. The Factory Settings have two of a
possible four Filter Cycles enabled.
The LCD will display the number of enabled Filter Cycles in the lower right hand corner.
This number can be adjusted using the Y/UP or N/DOWN buttons, followed by the ENT
button to save changes. Remember that if you wish to return to the Home Screen at any
time, simply press the ESC/OFF button.
Auxiliary Outlet (AUX) Menu
The optional auxiliary outlet is also timed and pool accessories can be programmed to turn
on and off automatically in much the same way as pool lighting is controlled using the Light
Timer Menu (See basic manual).
The AUX menu is used to select and adjust the timing system for a power separator
– a
device used to control the power from a separate power outlet on the base of your Unit.
Examples of how this might be used are for an auxiliary pump for an in-floor cleaning
system or a pressure cleaner.
Power Separators are run in conjunction with main pump timing. The timing of the AUX
system is tied to Filter Cycles 1 & 3 and operating times of 30, 60, 90 to 180 minutes can
be selected. Filter Cycles 1 & 3 must be set to run for the same period as the power
separator device (or longer).
Press ENT button to access the AUX Menu. Line 2
on the LCD will now read “Man ON?
Y/N”. To enable automatic operation press the N/DOWN-button. LCD will read AUX MENU
ADJUST, SYSTEM OFF. Adjust the ON time using the Y/UP and N/DOWN-buttons and
confirm by pressing ENT. The AUX system is now in automatic. To disable automatic
operation
, access the AUX menu in the way described above and when asked “Man ON?
Y/N” - press the N/DOWN button. Then adjust to SYSTEM OFF.
Manual Operation
The power separator can be controlled from the Home Screen by a pressing N/DOWN.
If the power separator is ON, then this will turn it OFF.
If it is OFF, the AUX MENU is activated and Line 2 of the LCD will read “Man ON? Y/N” –
press Y/UP to turn it ON and select running time. This will also turn on the main pump if it
is not already on.
OFF-PEAK RUNNING
Some owners may wish to run their pool filtration systems overnight to take advantage of
lower power tariffs. As most of the pools chlorine demand occurs during the day this is not
generally recommended as the pool chlorine residual can drop very low over the day
period. To offset this drop the OFF-PEAK RUNNING menu can be used to increase the
ORP set point overnight.
Once you have entered the menu you will be prompted to adjust the extra ORP setting.
Vary the setting and/or ENTer it and then turn the system ON or OFF.
