ASSEMBLY
To assemble the handlebar:
The handle height can be adjusted to suit the height of the operator by varying the angle where
the handle adjuster fits on to the girder.
• Remove the bolt and adjuster and attach the handle height adjuster over the girder.
•
Insert bolt into one of the adjustment holes and secure it with the nut.
• Replace the adjuster and tighten with clip.
To assemble the tines:
The tiller is supplied with a double set of tines, plus an additional single set for extra wide
cultivation.
The tines are “handed”, ie. they have a a bevelled leading edge which must always face for-
ward.
•
Attach the mudguards to the main chassis with the bolts supplied.
•
Attach the tines using the pins supplied as shown in the daiagram.
•
Pay particular attention to the direction of the pins - they must rotate in the same direction
as the tines to avoid them working use during operation.
• Attach and fix the crop protection discs.
