SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 

Read and understand the owner’s manual and labels affixed to the machine. Learn its application 
and limitations as well as the specific potential hazards. Retain these instructions for future 
reference. The operator is responsible for following the warnings & instructions in this manual and 
on the product. 

 

During Operation

 

 

Do not use the Splitter in damp or wet locations & conditions.  

 

Do not allow children to play on, stand upon or climb the Splitter. Children & other Bystanders 
should be kept a minimum of 10 metres away from the working area.  

 

Do not at any time allow anyone to sit or stand on the Splitter. 

 

Always inspect the Splitter before use to ensure it is in good working condition. 

 

Immediately  replace  or  repair  damaged  or  worn  parts  before  using  the  Splitter.  Only  use 
approved parts. 

 

Do not exceed the maximum capacities listed within the Specification of this manual. 

 

Always check and tighten hardware and assembled parts before operation. 

 

Do not over-reach and keep proper footing and balance at all times. 

 

Split wood only, the Splitter has not been designed for use with any other material. 

 

Do not modify or use the splitter for a purpose for which it was not intended. Your warranty could 
be invalidated. 

 

Crush and Cut Hazards

 

 

Always keep your hands and feet clear from moving parts while operating the equipment. 

 

Always keep the work area clean and clear when operating. 

 

Always wear safety gear, eye protection, steel-toed boots & gloves when operating the 
Splitter.
