Operation
• Open t he bat t ery compart ment and remove t he bat t ery saf et y
st rip. All LCD segment s w ill light up f or about a f ew seconds
and a melody w ill sound. The unit is now ready t o use.
Normal mode
• Display in normal mode: t ime (hours, minut es), dat e (mont h,
day), w eekday, t emperat ure and as in case TIM ER/ALARM /snooze
symbol (Zzz).
• By pressing t he °C/°F but t on t he t emperat ure unit can be changed
f rom °C t o °F.
Setting of clock and calendar
• Press M ODE but t on. The 24Hr indicat or is f lashing. Press UP or
DOWN but t ons t o choose 12 HR, PM appears on t he display, or
24 HR syst em.

Alarm clock function
• To ent er alarm mode, press ALARM but t on or M ODE but t on t w ice
in normal mode.
• Press SET but t on.
• The set t ing sequence is show n as f ollow s: Hours, minut es and
alarm sound (1-9).
• When t he digit s are f lashing set t he desired t ime by pressing t he
UP or DOWN but t on.
• Hold and press t he but t on f or a f ast count .
• Conf irm w it h SET but t on.
• The alarm is act ivat ed.
• ALARM is show n on t he display.
• Press M ODE but t on t hree t imes t o ret urn t o normal mode.
• To act ivat e/t urn of f snooze f unct ion, press UP but t on in normal
mode.
• “ Zzz” appears or disappears on t he display.
• When alarm is sounding, press any but t on t o st op t he alarm.
• Is t he snooze f unct ion act ivat ed, Zzz is f lashing and t he alarm
w ill be int errupt ed f or 6 minut es.
• To deact ivat e t he alarm press ALARM but t on.
• Press SET but t on in alarm mode f ive t imes, unt il “ -:- -” appears
on t he display.
• Press M ODE but t on t hree t imes t o ret urn t o nomal mode.
Birthday reminder
• Press M ODE but t on t hree t imes in normal mode.
• Press SET but t on.
• Now you can set t he exact t ime f or your birt hday reminder. The
set t ing sequence is show n as f ollow : Hours, M inut es, Year, M ont h
and Dat e.
• When t he digit s are f lashing set t he desired t ime by pressing t he
UP or DOWN but t on. Hold and press t he but t on f or a f ast count .
• When t he t ime is reached “ Happy Birt hday” w ill be played. Press
any but t on t o st op t he melody.
Timer
• Press M ODE but t on f our t imes in normal mode.
• Press SET but t on.
• Set t he desired t ime in hours and minut es.
• When t he digit s are f lashing set t he desired t ime by pressing t he
UP or DOWN but t on.
• Hold and press t he but t on f or a f ast count .

Attention:
Press SET but t on t o conf irm. The count dow n st art s and t he sym-
bol TIM ER appears on t he display.
• The t imer w ill also operat e if sw it ching t o anot her display mode.
• When t he t ime is reached a melody w ill be played and t he sym-
bol disappears.
• Press any but t on t o st op t he melody.
Photo frame
• Use your t humbs t o slide t he cover upw ard and insert a phot o.
Battery replacement
• Use 2 x 1.5 V AAA alkaline bat t eries. Observe correct polarit y.
Low bat t eries should be changed soon t o avoid t he damage
result ing f rom a leaking bat t ery. Bat t eries cont ain harmf ul acids.
Wear prot ect ive glasses and gloves w hen handling w it h leaked
bat t eries.
