3.2. Explanation of the application range

 

 

Our mechanical hand guided cutting tool type K 106 is suitable for cutting earth, plastic 
and rubber cables from copper and aluminium. 
 

Attention 
Do not cut steel or steel strands. 

 

Attention 
Do not cut live parts. This tool is not insulated. 

 

Before starting to cut please make sure that all parts involved in the cutting process are not 
energised. 
 

3.3. Maintenance instruction

 

 

This mechanical cutting tool has to be cleaned and dried after use. The tool is basically 
maintenance-free, only the bolt joints have to be oiled regularly and the ratchet mechanism 
including the gear teeth must be cleaned thoroughly after each use. 
 

3.4. Storage and transport of the cutting tool

 

 

In order to protect the tool against damages it must be stored in a clean and dry state in a
