Afterwards the swivel blade (Pos. 3) is guided around the cable until the teeth engage with 
the ratchet. The blades will be closed until the cutting edges contact the cable. 
 
Open the handles (Pos. 1). When closing the handles afterwards the blades penetrate the 
cable. Dependent on the necessary handle force the user can generate a double advance 
when opening the handles completely and a single advance by opening the handles half 
way. 
 
The cutting cycle can be interrupted anytime by actuating the disengaging bar (Pos. 2) 
 
The cutting cycle is terminated when both blades (Pos. 3&4) completely overlap, 
respectively when the cable is cut. 
 
Afterwards the next cutting cycle can be started. In case the cutting cycle must be 
interrupted open the handles completely actuate the disengaging bar (Pos. 2) in the 
direction of the arrow and open the swivel blade (Pos. 3).
