5. Starting the engine
Check the grease. When using the machine for the first time you must always add grease
as the machine has not been filled completely to avoid possible spills during transportation
(grease included in package).
Filling is done by placing the machine on its right side, so that it is horizontal. Remove plug
and pour in the grease right to the rim (approx. half the bottle).
See section 7 for further information.
Connect the power and make sure that the cord is fitted correctly in the cable holder.

Start the machine by pressing the safety button A and then pull the handle B towards the
frame. When the machine has started, release A.
Stop the machine by releasing handle B.
Tips
Do not start the machine until you are at the work area.
Always have both hands on the machine.
The blades will make the machine move forward. Let the blades sink slowly into the
ground.
