3.2 Swimmer contact arm
Connect the the wire of the swimmer to the swimmercontactarm (3), og the swimmer will
autamatically start the pump at a water level of 400 mm. (CW250, 31 cm). The swimmer
will switch off at a water level at 500 mm.
3.3 Position and transport
Make sure that the pump is always placed in a safe and stable position, especially
when it is running automatically.
When the pump runs automatically, the swimmer can move freely.
You can e.g. place the pump on a brick so that the inlet ports are kept free.
Do not lift the pump in the electric cable and do not store the pump by hanging it
in the electric or swimmer cable. Tie a rope into the handle (2), when the pump is
lifted into a well or shaft.
4. Application possiblities
The submersible pump is constructed for use in owner homes and gardens, especially for
draining floods, transfer of water, emptying of containers, wells and shafts, emptying of
boats and yachts and furthermore for airing and circulation of water for a limited period of
time.
CW 550 as well as DW 550 is waterproof sealed and can be lowered down to 800 mm.
(CW 250 can be lowered down to 500 mm).
CW 250 / CW 550
This submersible pump can be used for pumping clean water, easy polluted water
including water containing particles of a diameter up to 5 mm, water from the swimming
pool added with usual amounts of disinfectant medias and soap water.
DW 400 / DW 550
This submersible pump can also be used for pumping dirty water containing particles of a
diameter up to 35 mm.
The pump must NOT be used for corroding, inflammable or explosive fluids
such as gasoline, petroleum, thinner, grease, oil, salt and water form the toilet
or fluids warmer than 35ºC.
The pump is NOT constructed for continuous use, including constant circulation
of water. If you use the pump for such purposes you must calculate with
shorter life of the pump.
Do NOT use pump in swimming pools, when there is people in it.
