Depth skid:
The setting of the depth skid determines the blade depth.
The deeper the rod is set, the deeper the machine will till
the earth. The correct blade depth is the “key” to easy
cultivation.
The setting varies according to soil
conditions.
For best results, cultivate the soil 2-3 times in different
directions.
Cleaning after use:
The tiller should be cleaned after use. Use the garden
hose to wash the earth and dirt off. Remove quick grass,
etc., from the blade shaft. The chassis identification
number should only be wiped over with a damp cloth,
otherwise it could get damaged. Avoid using a high-
pressure cleaner.
Note : The gear can become very hot
during operation
Storage
If the machine is not to be used for a longer period, the following precautions should be taken. This will
ensure a longer working life.
- change the oil!
With the motor in a horizontal position, there should be oil on the dipstick.
Empty the fuel tank. Run the motor until the carburettor is completely
empty (the motor stops by itself). If fuel is left in the tank for a longer
period, any impurities in the petrol can clog the carburettor, which can
result in harder starting, loss of performance, etc.
Remove the spark plug. Pour a couple of drops of motor oil down the spark plug hole. Pull the start cord
4-5 times and replace the spark plug. Pull the start cord slowly until you feel some resistance. This
closes the fuel and exhaust valves and prevents corrosion in the cylinder.
Wipe the surface with an oily cloth.
Always store the machine in a dry, clean place.
