The
Supply Voltage
button controls the 3.3-V power supply to the TMP007 test board. This control is on
by default.
The
S/W Reset
button provides a software or firmware reset to the TMP007. This control resets all
register values to their default states.
The
SD
button is a non-operational control.
The
Alert Pin
button is similar in functionality to the on-board LED. The on or off status of the LED may
not be synchronized with the external LED in the TMP007 test board.
The
Object Temperature
and
Ambient/Local Temperature
control boxes provide the temperature of the
object that the TMP007 is pointing to and the ambient temperature of the local temperature sensor,
respectively. The user can convert the displayed temperatures from the default Celsius to Fahrenheit by
checking the
Fahrenheit
checkbox under the thermometer displays.
The
Device Configuration
control box located at the left of the mode Controls page configures the TMP007
conversion mode, conversion time, and transient correction functions.
