TI-Presenter User Guide

Introduction

TI-Presenter projects the display of your TI graphing calculator to a video device such
as a TV, a VCR, a video camera, or a video projector with composite video input.

The pre-installed TI-Presenter software supports the following calculators: TI-73,
TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-85, TI-86, TI-89, TI-92, and TI-92 Plus. To use TI-Presenter,
you must have a ViewScreen

 model of any of these calculators and a TV.

TI-Presenter uses Flash technology, which allows you to upgrade your TI-Presenter to
new features as they become available from the TI web site without buying a new unit
(see page 6).

First Things First

Make sure your package contains all of the following:

• 

TI-Presenter

• 

AC/DC  power adapter (AC-9920)

• 

Power cable

• 

Video cable

• 

Type I calculator cable

• 

Type II calculator cable

• 

SCART video adapter (for European countries only)

• 

Carrying case

•

If any of these items is missing, contact the TI product dealer where you purchased
your TI-Presenter.

For your calculator, you will need either the Type I cable or the Type II cable. (The
type of the cable is indicated on the tag attached to the cable.) Before you start
setting up your TI-Presenter, choose the appropriate cable from the following:

• 

For TI-73, TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-85, and TI-86 calculators, use the Type I
cable.

• 

For TI-89, TI-92, and TI-92 Plus calculators, use the Type II cable.
