2.2.3 Enabling the RNDIS Driver on Linux

DLP LightCrafter connects to Linux systems as a Linux-USB Ethernet/RNDIS device. Some systems
require USB networking support to be manually enabled. To enable USB networking follow these steps:

1. Open a command terminal.

2. Open the "/etc/network/interfaces" file in superuser mode. See

Figure 2-11

.

For example, "sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces"

3. Add "iface usb0 inet dhcp" to the file. See

Figure 2-11

.
