As mentioned previously in the
BUF18830EVM-USB Features
section (see
), jumper JMP2 is
used to set the I
2
C address pin of the BUF18830.
shows how the hardware and software must
both be set to allow for communication between the BUF18830EVM and the software. Without jumper
JMP2 and the software address button configured correctly, the software will not be able to communicate
with the BUF18830 device.
