Safety Instructions:
When working with the TEXAS Pro-Trim 600 the following safety instructions must be
closely adhered to. Always read this manual carefully to understand each function of the
machine. Make sure that you, the user of the machine, can stop the machine immediately
and switch off the engine in case of an accident. All instructions on safety and
maintenance of TEXAS Pro-Trim 600 are worked out for the benefit of the user and should
therefore be followed without deviations.
TEXAS Pro-Trim 600 has been constructed as a brushcutter and should be used for this
exclusive purpose. The machine can be fitted with various pieces of original TEXAS
tools. The supplier does not assume responsibility for accidents caused by the wrong
use or running with non-authorised accessories.
Use only original spare parts for maintenance and repair of your TEXAS Pro-Trim. The
use of any unauthorised spare parts increases the risk of break-down and unnecessary
wear and tear.
The first time the machine shall be used, the dealer or other professional personnel
should instruct the user on how to use and operate the machine.
The person operating the machine is responsible for other persons in the working area.
Never use the machine when other, especially children or animals, are too close to the
machine.
The machine can only be lent to persons who are familiar with the operation of the
machine. A new user of the machine must read the instructions which must always
accompany the machine.
The machine can only be operated by persons who are rested, healthy and in good
shape. If the work with the machine is exhausting there must be frequent breaks to
avoid accidents owing to tiredness. The machine must not be operated by persons
under influence of alcohol.
The control units mounted by the manufacturer, e.g. the connection lever and the
throttle control, must not be removed or blocked.
If the user at any time doubts about the correct functioning of the machine as regards
safety, the work must be halted and the machine checked immediately.
WORK WITH THE MACHINE ON STEEP SLOPES IS DANGEROUS!
USE THE MACHINE ONLY IN AREAS WHERE IT CAN BE OPERATED SAFELY!
