Setting stations

`

With the waveband switch, select the desired band 
(FM, MW, LW or SW). The corresponding 
abbreviation will be shown on the display.

`

Now use the 

UP

  

and/or 

DOWN 

 buttons to set the 

desired frequency.

`

To start the automatic station search, hold the 

UP

   

or 

DOWN

   button pressed for about three seconds.

`

The station search stops as soon as a station with a 
sufficiently strong signal is found.

Setting the MW area

Since the radio transmitter systems vary from country to 
country, you should make an adjustment using the 
reception area setting.

Press the MODE button six times and the use the UP   
and/or DOWN   buttons to select the reception area in 
accordance with the following table.

Fine tuning

If a station cannot be found exactly, reception can be 
improved with the fine tuning.

During the station search, press the 

FINE

 button; 

FINE

 

will appear on the display.

`

Now use the 

UP

  

and/or 

DOWN 

 buttons to set the 

desired reception frequency in half-frequency steps.

`

Press the 

FINE

 button again to cancel fine tuning.

This function is not available in the LW band.
