LT 2
Connection
The LT2 in the 5.1 configuration with an active
subwoofer can be connected to any normal Dol-
by Digital/DTS 5.1/6.1/7.1 AV receiver. For a 7.1 AV
receiver you do not use the rear centre socket(s).
If you already have a modern 7.1 AV receiver you
can expand your theatre LT 2 with two additional
L 220 FCR satellites to make a 7.1 home cinema
set.
Connect the front, centre and rear speakers to a
5.1 AV receiver as per the diagram in
Fig. 1
.
Connect the subwoofer output (Sub Out) of your
Dolby Digital/DTS-AV receiver via a mono-cinch
cable with the right Line Input of the subwoofer
as per the drawing in
Fig. 2
.
The left input (Line Input L) remains unoccupied. A
Y-adapter is required to use both of the subwoo-
fer inputs (refer to Accessories, Page 7).

Connecting the speakers to an
AV surround receiver using
a 5.1 set as an example.
A 6.1/7.1 receiver has one or
two rear centre socket pair(s).
Information:
The five passive speakers in the
set – no matter whether they
are the satellite FCRs or column
FRs – are equipped with the
same speaker chassis and are
technically identical; the column
speakers simply have an inte-
grated base that can be ignored
acoustically.
The speakers can be used in the
front, centre or rear depending
on the room requirements. We do
however recommend that they
are used in pairs – for example
both column speakers TOGETHER
either for front OR rear sound.
