Setup And Connection
NOTICE
If the device is subjected to
warm temperatures after be-
ing cold (e.g. after transport),
condensation may occur inside
of it.
– In this case, wait approx. 2
hours before you connect and
activate it.
Location tips
• Select a stable, level base.
• Make sure that the environment is
clean and free from dust.
• Select a location away from heat
sources and direct sunlight.
• The device should have approx.
10 cm of clearance on all sides to
ensure adequate circulation of air.
• Do not place any heavy objects on
the cables or the device.
CAUTION
Risk of injury/damage!
– Lay the cables so that they do
not pose a tripping hazard.
Antenna
You can use the enclosed throw-out
antenna

to receive DAB+ and FM
at the same time.

1. Insert the antenna in the DAB/FM
jack

and screw the union nut
tight.
2. Change the position of the
throw-out antenna until the recep-
tion for both bands (FM and DAB+)
is optimal.
3. Then fix the loose end with tape or
a nail.
– Of course, you can also connect
an active room or roof antenna for
DAB/FM to the DAB/FM jack

strike!
– If you are using outdoor or
roof antennas, be absolutely
sure that the antenna system
has lightning protection.
– With the enclosed antenna adapter

, you can also connect the
KB 62 CR with a cable connection,
but it is not possible to receive
DAB+ with it.
