Basic functions

Activating and deactivating

Activating

• Press button

“ ” or one of the function select

buttons

“FM”,

“CD”,

“USB” or

“AUX” .

The unit powers up, the display briefly shows “HELLO” .

Switching to standby

• During operation press button

or button

“ ”

briefly .

The unit will switch to Standby . The display briefly

shows “BYE BYE”, and then displays the time . After

a few minutes the time display disappears and the

display goes dark .

• In order to show the time again, press button

“CLOCK” briefly .

EcoPower mode

In EcoPower mode the unit uses a maximum of only 0 .5

Watt .

Activating EcoPower mode

• Whilst in operation or when in standby, press and hold

button

or button

“ ” for approx . 3 seconds .

The display briefly shows “ECOPOWER”, then goes

dark .

EcoPower mode is now switched on and replaces

Standby mode . This means that pressing button

button

“ ” will no longer switch the unit to Standby

but to EcoPower mode .

Switching from EcoPower mode

• Whilst the unit is in EcoPower mode, press and hold

button

or button

“ ” for approx . 3 seconds .

The display shows the time, the unit is now back in

standby .

EcoPower mode is now switched off . This means that

pressing button

or button

“ ” will no longer

switch the unit to EcoPower mode but to standby .

Dimmer

• You

“DIM” to control the brightness of the display .

The display brightness is adjusted every time you push

the button: bright, medium, dim .
