Troubleshooting
no MP3 playback/noisy MP3 playback
∫ If the storage medium contains a mix of data
files and MP3 files, non-MP3 compatible files
may be played back as noise or playback may be
deactivated.
∫ Check to see whether all of the files on the
storage medium are MP3 files. If necessary skip
files and try to play other MP3s.
The remote control does not work
First check whether the batteries are still charged
and if necessary replace them.
∫ Direct the remote control to the sensor on the
IP 400 DR player/receiver.
∫ Ensure that there are no barriers between the
remote control and IP 400 DR player/receiver.
Remove these, if necessary.
∫ Check whether the batteries in the remote
control have been inserted with the correct
polarity.
∫ Check whether the batteries have leaked.
∫ Check whether there are fluorescent lamps
close by.
Discs are not played back/the appliance does
not respond to entry commands
Please switch the appliance off completely and
then back on again – using the mains power
switch on the back.
The USB stick is not recognised
Due to the wide variety of USB sticks on the
market, it is not possible to guarantee 100%
compatibility with all sticks.
We have had the best test results with the latest
USB memory sticks (using the USB 2 standard).
