Chamber Relief Vent
A relief vent is located on the top of the chamber. It will vent the chamber workspace if there is a
positive or negative pressure condition. A positive pressure can result if the chamber door is
opened at high temperature and then closed. A positive pressure can also occur if the optional
Dry Air Purge or GN2 Purge system is operational. A negative pressure can result if the chamber
door is opened at low temperature and then closed. The vent body can become hot or cold
depending on the workspace condition. The vent assembly has a drip pan to catch any
condensate that may occur.
