Diode test
Set the selector switch to " / “. Connect the black test lead to
the “ COM ” jack and the red test lead to the “ V/ Ω ” jack. Connect test
leads to the test specimen. Red test lead = anode, black test lead =
cathode. The forward voltage drop is displayed.

Continuity test
Set to " / “ using the selector switch. Connect the black test
lead to the “COM” jack and the red test lead to the V/ Ω /TEMP/CAP
jack. Connect test leads to the test circuit. A signal is emitted if a
resistance under 45
Ω is measured.
Important: Ensure isolation from the power supply
and discharge capacitors in the circuit to be
measured
.
