2.8 – TIAH64D MPU-24 Installation
Placing and Securing the TIAH64D MPU-24 into the Aircraft.
With the battery compartment empty, maneuver the TIAH64D into position (See Figure 2.8.1). Install the
TIAH-64D into the existing aircraft battery location as per TM 1-1520-Longbow/Apache IETM. Install new
screws (Part Number: NAS1801-4-16) retained washers, and tighten (See Figure 2.8.2).
Attaching the Legacy Dummy Plug
If equipped, attach and lock the Legacy Plug to the Dummy Plug Receiver.
