Manoeuvre  the  belt  over  the  spindle,
straighten it out and lay the belt flat on the
spindle.
Thread the brush through the belt.

Position the belt over the convex section of
the brush . Make sure the belt is not twisted

Stage 4. Replace the belt

Stage 5.  Replace the Brush

A.

Hold the brush in both hands. Pull the brush towards you

and partially insert the left hand side bearing of the brush into
its  socket  with  your  thumb.

(This  will  place  the  belt  under

tension, so you may have to use moderate pulling force.)

B.

Slide your free hand to the right. Position the right hand side

bearing of the brush over its socket.

C.

Press the Right hand bearing partially into the socket

D.

Finally press both sides of the brush fully home.

Stage 5.  Re-assembly

Rotate the brush by hand to ensure that the mechanism moves freely and that the belt does not foul the guides and is central on the
motor spindle.

Now replace the deflection plate  -

see Stage 1 for details.

Before using the cleaner, switch it on and confirm that the brush rotates freely and that the brush height mechanism operates properly.
