PLACEMENT
After assembly, stand the fan upright on a solid level floor in a
safe location.
SWITCHING ON
The control panel of the fan consists of a Speed Switch, a Timer
Control and an Oscillator Button.
CONTROL PANEL
The Speed Switch
0 switches the fan off.

1 selects Low speed
•
2 selects Medium speed
•
3 selects High Speed
•
The Timer
The ‘ON’ setting disables the timer. In this mode the fan is
•
controlled by the Speed buttons.
The timer can be set from 0 to 120 minutes. When the time
•
is up, the timer reaches ‘O’ and switches the fan off.
When the timer registers ‘O’ you cannot switch the fan on or off
via the speed switch
To operate the fan again:
Set the Timer to ‘ON’ or set a new time.

OPERATION
Ensure the Speed Switch is set to‘0’.

Set the TIMER to ‘ON’, or select a time.
•
Plug in the fan and switch it on at the mains.
•
Now select the desired speed.

OSCILLATION
Your fan can oscillate about its axis for better cooling. The
oscillator button is located under the Timer Knob and marked
with the symbol Ω.
Ensure that the fan can oscillate freely before using this
feature.
To oscillate the fan press the oscillator button in.

Press and release the Oscillator button again to return to
•
fixed operation.
To change the angle at which the fan operates:
Press the oscillator button down, allow the fan to reach the
•
desired position and press the oscillator button again to
lock the fan in its new position.
CARRYING THE FAN
When moving the fan always ensure that it is switched off and
unplugged at the mains point. Carry the fan with one hand in
the handgrip at the top rear and the column body in the other.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, switch the fan off and unplug from the mains.
The fan column may be cleaned with a mild detergent lightly
applied to a damp cloth. Remove all traces of detergent with
a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before operating the
appliance.
Never spray liquid onto any part of the fan or allow liquids to
run into the interior of the appliance.
When not in use, store the appliance away from sources of
moisture and heat and where children and pets cannot access
the unit.
