Jug

•  Fill the jar to 1500ml/48 fl.oz. with warm water 

and a very small amount of detergent.

•  Twist the Power/speed control to the ‘Pulse’ 

position for 1-2 seconds several times. 

The water will rinse out the jug. 

•  The jug can be cleaned more thoroughly by 

hand washing in a mild detergent solution. 

When doing this take care to avoid any contact 

with the sharp blades in the jug.

•  Leave the jug to dry thoroughly before storage.

Storage

•  When all the components are dry, coil the 

power cable loosely and store the blender set 

out of reach of children and pets.

Operation

Adding more liquid

You may find you need to add more liquid during 

blending.
•  Set the Power/speed control to the ‘0’ (Off) 

position.

•  Remove the cap from the lid.
•  Pour in the additional liquid.
•  Re-fit the cap and lock it in place.
•  Continue blending.

Stirring the mixture

It may be necessary to stir the mixture to 

distribute the ingredients.
•  Set the Power/speed control to the ‘0’ (Off) 

position.

•  Remove the jug.
•  Remove the lid.
•  Stir the mixture with a spoon.
•  Re-fit the lid, lock the jug back on the motor 

body and continue blending.

When your mixture is ready

•  Set the Power/speed control to the ‘0’ (Off) 

position.

•  Unlock the jug and lift it off the motor body.
•  Remove the lid and pour the mixture into a 

container, ready to use or to refrigerate.

NOTE: Cold ingredients may warm up slightly 

when blended. Refrigerate them after blending 

to cool. Hot ingredients such as soups should be 

covered and allowed to cool before blending, then 

refrigerated.

After use

•  Immediately after use, follow the instructions 

in the Care and Cleaning section to clean the 

blender components.

Care and cleaning

Never clean any of the blender components with 

scourers, abrasive pads or chemicals.
The motor body and jug are not dishwasher safe.
•  Disconnect the blender motor body from 

mains power before cleaning it.

Motor body

The motor body must never be immersed in water. 
•  Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Lid and cap

The lid and cap are dishwasher safe or can be 

hand-washed. 

Warranty

Your TESCO appliance is warranted for 12 months 

from the date of purchase. If a fault develops during 

this period, please return the unit to your nearest 

Tesco store together with the original receipt as proof 

of purchase. This warranty in no way affects your 
consumer rights.
