After use:

Switch off and unplug the unit at the power outlet.

Remove the plug from the power outlet and allow the grill to
cool down completely.

The Drip Tray:

Remove the drip tray and discard the accumu-

lated debris safely. Do NOT discard waste food, oil or fat into
the sink or a drain. Dispose of it as you do other kitchen refuse.
Wash the drip tray in warm soapy water, rinse in clean water
and allow to dry thoroughly.

Remove and clean the Grill plates

Open the grill. Release each plate one at a time. Press the clips
lightly to release the plate and carefully remove the plate.

Scrape the grill plates (if necessary) with a plastic or wooden
scraper to remove any adhered particles of food.  Special scrap-
ers with indentations to fit the raised sections of the grill are
available from kitchen shops and their use is recommended.
Wash the plates in warm soapy water. Any stubborn particles
should be removed with a plastic scrubbing pad. Rinse the
clean plates with clean water and dry thoroughly

Replace the Grill plates:

On the flat section of each plate

there are two tabs. Place these tabs into the slots in the grill
and press the plate firmly into place. The clips will click holding
the plate secure. The plates will fit only one way round and are
not interchangeable.
Check the plates are secure and close the grill.

OUTSIDE:

Wipe the body with a soft cloth which has been rinsed almost
dry in warm soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth.
DO NOT use abrasive chemicals steel wool, scouring or abrasive
pads on the inside or outside of the grill.

Storage

Replace the drip tray under the grill.
Coil the power cable loosely and store the appliance in a cup-
board safely out of the reach of children.

When moving the grill:

Hold the closed grill at the sides.

The handle is only for lifting the upper section of the grill. It is
not a carrying handle.

WARNING:

Never store the grill without the plates correctly

fitted. Accidental operation of the grill without the plates se-
curely fitted or missing is dangerous
