Unpacking
Remove all packaging from the appliance. Retain the
packaging. If you dispose of it do so according to any
recycling regulations.
Before using the appliance for the first time:
Hold the recessed handle and lift the lid fully open.
Wipe the upper and lower grill plates with a damp cloth
containing a trace of dilute detergent. Remove all traces
of detergent with a cloth damped with clean water. Dry
the grill surfaces thoroughly.
Brush a very small amount of oil carefully over the entire
surface of the grill plates. (You may need to repeat this
operation after removing food which has adhered to the
plates).
OPERATION
Operate the unit on a stable and level heat and stain
resistant work top. You may use a heatproof mat to
prevent stains. To avoid fire hazards keep areas above and
around the grill clear.
Hinge down the rear stand. Place the grill on the worktop.
Ensure the grill sits firmly on the stand.
