Usage Precautions
About the Meter
Do not use the Meter where it is
exposed to strong light such as
direct sunlight.
It can prevent the Meter from
measuring blood glucose.
Do not drop the Meter or expose it to
any impact.
In addition, do not place the Meter in
locations exposed to strong vibration
(such as the dashboard of a vehicle).
Use the Meter at least 1m apart from any
equipment generating electromagnetic
waves (such as a cellular phone).
The Meter may not function
correctly in close proximity to
equipment of this type.
About the battery
Do not swallow the batteries.
In case of battery swallowing, immediately
consult your physician.
When replacing batteries, make sure not to
let substances, such as oil or dust, come
inside the Meter.
It may cause product breakdown.
When the batteries are removed, the
clock incorporated in the Meter will stop
functioning. After battery replacement,
please go to page 10 to reset date and time.
