Condition Media
Note: Use the information in “Performing Tasks” to complete this task.
The purpose of this task is to allow the media to reach equilibrium with the provided gas supply before
loading the cells. This task includes two separate steps:
•
Step 1: provides rapid contact between the media and the gas supply by using a high EC circulation
rate.
• Step 2: maintains the system in a proper state until the operator is ready to load the cells.
Table 8-1 describes the types of solution that are needed to attach to each line when performing
Condition Media. These solutions and corresponding volumes are based on the factory default settings
for this task.
